The Planning Inspectorate issue their notification of hearings and call for evidence

The Planning Inspectorate have issued their notification of hearings and call for evidence in respect of the Walney Extension Offshore Wind Farm Project. A copy of this letter and further details can be found on the Planning Inspectorate’s website at http://infrastructure.planningportal.gov.uk/walney.

Hearings will take place during the last two weeks in March in line with the following time table (all dates subject to change):

  • Issue Specific Hearing 1 relating to air navigation – Isle of Man - Tuesday 18 March 2014 (Start: 10:00, doors open: 09:30)
  • Open Floor Hearing 1 - Tuesday 18 March 2014 – Isle of Man - (Start: 14:00, doors open: 13:30)
  • Open Floor Hearing 2 - Thursday 20 March 2014 – Millom - (Start: 10:00, doors open: 09:30)
  • Issue Specific Hearing 2 relating to all outstanding issues including, transport related issues, biodiversity related issues, and the draft DCO as required – Lancaster - Wednesday 26 March 2014 to Friday 28th March 2014 (Start 10:00, doors open 09:30)
